Album relating to the career of Lt. Cdr. E. J. Spooner, Volume 2

This is a maroon cloth card covered album, containing 222 photographs glued in.

Contents: Photographs relating to the career of Lt Commander Spooner while serving on HMS New Zealand (1911) taking Admiral Lord Jellicoe on a world cruise to report on naval defences of the British Empire. Ships include USS New Mexico (1917), HMS Shakespeare (1917) and HMS Lowestoft (1913), including her crew in 1923. Places include: Auckland, Fiji, Suva, Hawaii, Vancouver, San Diego, Honolulu, Apia, Panama Canal and West Coast of Africa. There are also later photographs of naval officers and family friends.
