This is a spiral bound album with card covers. On the front cover are the following (in blue): the flag of the Burntisland Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. (top left); the title "Merchant Aircraft Carrier, ("MAC" Ship), "EMPIRE MACALPINE", Keel laid 11th August, 1942, Completed 14th April 1943" (centre); the words "The Burntisland Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. Burntisland, Scotland" (bottom right). The album contians 30 photographs with each photograph and caption forming a complete page.
