Globular projection, borders graduated for latitude and longitude; longitude from London. Scales in Swedish leagues, German and Danish leagues, common leagues of Norway, British and French leagues. The boundaries of countries and districts are coloured.

Supplied information: John Senex published this plate in 'The universal geographer or compleat atlas containing all the known countries in the World' in 1708. Christopher Leyoncrona, to whom the map is dedicated, was Swedish "envoy extraordinary" at London from 1699 until his death there in April 1710 (supposedly of grief over Sweden's defeat at Poltava nine months earlier).
