Dessert stand
A green dessert stand with a printed anchor symbol incorporating the initials 'OL'. Silver and green lines decorate the rim. Printed on the base is 'ORIENT LINE' and the company house flag with a printed and impressed maker's mark. There is also an impressed date code for 1951. This pattern was used in Orient Line first class accommodation from 1960. The logo was designed by Edward Bawden.
