Auriga (1945) along side the jetty, Lerwick.
A view of HM Submarine Auriga (1945) taken just off the port bow from the jetty at Lerwick, Shetland Islands. The photograph shows her after her re-fit when the external torpedo tubes were removed, the bow was streamlined, and an Asdic dome was added to the stern. The bow mounted asdic has been retracted and the hatch closed.
