Manrope

A rope rigged as part of a handrail on a gangway, from the royal yacht 'Victoria & Albert III' 1899. A piece of rope covered with blue velvet and served with gold cord. It terminates in a stopper knot with a red leather collar. The end of the rope is bound with gold cord terminating in a smaller knot.
