Single sheet. Engraved. Scale: ca. 1:50 000. Cartographic Note: Variation shown 7 degrees W. Ungraduated. Tide symbols. Bar scale in statute miles. Contents Note: Contains two views: Bond Hollow bearing S.b.E. Mount Pleasant half way between the cedars on the Hook and the lighthouse. Plate changes: Shading further intensified. The plate has developed defects which appear as horizontal lines at the top of the sheet. Other features: Printed on Bates paper. Border yellow, land tinted brown. The town of New York and Brookland and the lighthouse at Sandy Hook have been added in red by the colourist. Red/brown coastal convention. The Bond Hollow view is sepia, the Mount Pleasant view is coloured.
