Silver milk jug presented to Lieutenant George James Evelyn

A silver milk jug with bun feet and a gilded interior. The sides are gadrooned and the rim decorated with scallop shells and foliage. The handle is also decorated with leaves. Inscribed on one side: From the Merchants and Ship Owners of Barbados / TO LIEUTENANT GEORGE JAMES EVELYN / of the Royal Navy / March 1816.' The Evelyn arms are engraved on the opposite side.
