Transmitting unit of tide gauge with attached cable. The outside dial measures 0-90cm. The inside dial measures 1-9. The transmitting unit allows adjustment of the measuring range (4.5, 6 and 9 metres). The measured value is converted into a voltage. After conversion the signla modulates the transmitter. For greater flexibility the transmitter and receiver have three selectable frequencies by which it is possible to combine various measuring systems.
