A group of crew relaxing on the foredeck of Parma (1902).
A View looking down from the foremast at a group of the crew relaxing in hammocks on the forecastle head of the four-masted barque Parma (1902), in fine weather. The hammocks are lashed to the bars of the capstan and the port side rails. The jibs have been furled but the shaddow of the foremast sails can be seen on the deck.
