Tobacco Box
A tobacco box in the shape of a peaked cap. It is made of copper with a brass edge to the peak. The underside of the cap has a hinged lid. The top is engraved with foliage scrolls, with a flower in the centre. Round the edge of the flower: ‘WITH BEST WISHES HARRY” underneath ‘W. BALLS’ within a scalloped border. The cap badge is made of a small, gilt, naval button and there is a steel chain across the top of the peak.
