A view along the bottom of the Manchester Ship Canal at the Warrington Dock entrance
Looking east along the bottom of the Manchester Ship Canal at the Walton Cutting while under construction. On the left is the pier of the swing bridge, and the curve of the canal is the entrance to the Warrington Dock. Railway lines can be seen, used to tranport soil away from the site, and equipment in.
