Anson (1940)

A sailor on the forecastle of the King George V class battleship HMS Anson (1940), 9th February 1943. On this date the ship would have been returning to Scapa Flow after providing distant cover for convoy RA 52.

This is a copy of an original negative held at the Imperial War Museum (A14455).
