Figure
Full-length Staffordshire figure of Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France (1769-1821), one of a set of three with Nelson and Wellington. He has his right hand inside his long coat and wears a cocked hat and boots. The figure is supported by a wall on the right side, two guns protrude through it and there is a pile of shot at the base. The face of the figure is painted in natural colours; the blue great coat is worn over a pink uniform with black-coloured hat and boots. There is some gilt, including a line around the hollow base.
