Bust
A Parian ware bust of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) on a round socle after the marble bust by John Flaxman. He is depicted in Rear-Admiral's full-dress uniform with the stars of the orders of the Bath, Crescent and St Ferdinand and wearing the Naval gold medals for St Vincent and the Nile, and another medal impressed 'NILE I AUGUST 1789' [sic] intended to represent Davison's Nile medal. The maker's name is impressed on the reverse.
