Two unnamed three-masted luggers (no date)
Scale 1:48. This plan relates to two different lugger designs. No. 1 had a 'V' shaped cross section and No. 2 a 'U' shaped cross section. The plan shows the body plan with a 'U' formed cross section, and a body plan with a 'V' formed cross section. The lines plan with inboard detail, and the longitudinal half-breadth with superimposed deck details relate to the 'V' shaped hull Lugger. The longitudinal half-breadth at the bottom refers to the 'U' shaped hull Lugger.
The reverse of the plan has the note 'Mr Gore's Fast Sailing Vessel', although it is not clear as to the context. Similarly, a pencil note on the front states that 'Mr Gore carried out experiments with models in towing tank. See Charnock.'
