A Staffordshire, full-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The figure leans on a sword moulded in relief as part of the base and coloured. A flag on the other side projects to the side and is painted in a chequered pattern. The details on the blue coat are picked out in gold and the breeches are coloured mottled pink, the sash lemon yellow and the hat black. The back is left partly unmoulded and unpainted.
