A Staffordshire, full-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). He leans on a gilt sword which is moulded into the base. A similarly moulded anchor, painted black is placed on the other side. The figure wears yellow breeches and a yellow sash, the stars on the blue coat and lace on the hat are picked out in gold. The body is porcelain, moulded with a hollow base. The left arm and leg are moulded in high relief.
