Shoulder strap, Royal Naval uniform
A shoulder strap with King George V's royal cypher attached towards the bottom. The strap consists of overlaying patterns of gilt thread with a gold coloured metal button attached towards the top. The Royal cypher is a darker colour than the button. This is believed to be part of the Duke of Windsor (Edward VIII)'s uniform that he would have worn when he was Prince of Wales.
