Shoulder strap, Royal Naval uniform
A shoulder strap that was worn by Royal Naval officers. It consisting of an overlying pattern of gilt thread with a gold coloured metal button at the top of the strap. Towards the bottom is a badge of King George V's royal cypher. This strap is believed to part of the Duke of Windsor (Edward VIII)'s uniform that he wore when he was Prince of Wales.
