Figure group
A Staffordshire figure group representing the death of Nelson. Nelson in uniform coat, buff breeches and black hat is supported by two officers, the one seated to the left is in uniform and pink trousers, the other on the right wears a uniform coat, striped trousers and orange sash; he holds Nelson's hand. The faces are painted in naturalistic colours. At the back, the upper part of the figures are moulded and coloured, the lower part of the group is flat and white. The base is enclosed with the edge bordered with a gilt line.
