Figure group
A Staffordshire figure group representing the death of Nelson. The admiral, wearing a black hat, blue coat and orange breeches is supported by two officers. The figure on the left is seated and wears a uniform coat with white trousers. He holds out a glass in his right hand. The standing figure to the left, wears a uniform coat, pink trousers and a tartan sash, his right hand rests on Nelson's shoulder. The details are picked out in gilt. The upper part of the back is moulded and coloured. The base of the hollow group is enclosed with a painted '2'.
