A close up view of the stern wake of the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' 1913) taken from the port side of the quarterdeck next to the after 6 inch gun. In the middle distance, standing on the starboard side with his back to the camera, is an unidentified officer taking a photograph of the wake. The Carley Float can been seen lashed to the deck.
