The launch of one of the 21 inch torpedoes from the port side amidships tubes on the upper deck of the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). The photograph is taken from aft of the tubes looking forward, but only the boat davits are in the picture. A couple of merchant ships are on the horizon in the distant background.
