Bust
Painted earthenware bust representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The figure wears a uniform coat coloured blue with gold lace, two medals, two stars and a purple order ribbon. It has brown hair with no queue and the face is painted in naturalistic colours. The bust stands on a rectangular red-brown painted plinth and a square white base. 'NELSON' is impressed on the reverse of the bust.
