Two unidentified sailors standing either side a torpedo suspended from the starboard hoist on light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). The photographer was standing on the shield of the starboard aft four inch gun looking forward along the upper deck towards the Beef House. Behind the lefthand sailor is the watertight trunking attached to the Captain's Galley. One of the starboard torpedo tubes can be seen over the left shoulder of the righthand sailor. The deck is covered with a canvas sheeting.
