One of the propellers (screws) for the light cruiser HMS 'Aurora' (1913). The screw is suspended from a crane (out of the picture) with an unidentified man in overalls standing next to it on the dock side. He is looking at the camera. The photographer was standing on the dock side looking across the dock. Only the wires from the rig of the Aurora can be seen, the rest of the ship is below eye level or out of the photograph.
