Figure
A coloured porcelain figure of a sailor, with arms outstretched, standing on a low rococo scroll mounted base. The figure is wearing the occupational dress of a seaman of the period, though fancifully coloured. He wears a long pink jacket with a blue waistcoat, striped petticoat-breeches or 'slops', a black 'apple pasty' hat, neckerchief and buckle shoes.
