Figure group
A flat-back earthenware figure group depicting a sailor and a Scottish girl, arm in arm, probably theatrical performers. The sailor wears a blue jacket, white trousers, a red striped guernsey and a floppy white hat. The girl wears a short tartan skirt over pink bloomers, a blue bodice and a pink tam-o-shanter with a feather. The group was probably the product of a Scottish factory.
