Icarus (1936)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the lower deck, hold and sections, as fitted, of the I-class destroyer Icarus (1936). The drawing shows the section frames 152, 146 and 116 looking aft. The plan also shows the section frames 86, 62, 54, and 28 looking forward. The drawing also shows tables detailing the contents of shell magazines situated in the hold. A John Brown & Company stamp dated 10 November 1937 is printed on the left hand side of the plan. A second John Brown & Company, bearing the signature of the Director of Naval Construction Sir Arthur W. Johns, dated 22 November 1937 is printed underneath the first stamp. A smll part of the bottom left corner of the plan is missing.
