A porcelain figure inscribed on the base 'Admiral', '1782'. He is represented wearing rear-admiral's full dress 1787-1795 pattern with white stockings, breeches and waistcoat, a blue coat with white cuffs and a black hat. The gold lace on his coat and hat are represented by gilding. He holds a telescope in his right hand. One of a series of figures illustrating the development of British naval uniform with the Dresden gold anchor mark on the base.
