A porcelain figure of a Thames waterman. The standing figure wears a red tunic, breeches and stockings, a black peaked cap and shoes. The back and breast of the tunic bear the Royal cypher of Queen Elizabeth II. He holds a wooden oar in his right hand and stands on a circular base, coloured to represent grass and earth and gilded around the sides. Inscribed on the base is 'QUEEN'S WATERMAN' and the maker's mark..
