Portrait medallion
Dark blue jasper portrait medallion depicting Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Richard Howe (1726-1799). He is shown in profile, in uniform facing to the right. The medallion was modelled by John De Vaere in 1798. The back is white with an impressed maker's mark and the inscription: 'HOWE'.
