Plaque
An oval Pratt ware plaque, moulded in relief and painted in bright colours. In the centre a half-length figure of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), his blue coat with pink lace and yellow decorations. His sashes are coloured red and purple and he is shown with black hair and red cheeks. To the left, a ship under sail and on the right an anchor painted black. The plaque has a blue rope border with an oak leaf border inside. A single hole has been pierced at the top for suspension.
