Portrait medallion
A circular portrait medallion in greenish blue stoneware with white appled reliefs. In the centre, a profile portrait of Admiral of the Fleet John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent (1735-1823) after the design modelled by John de Vaere in 1798. He is shown in uniform facing right. The bust is surrounded by the 12 signs of the zodiac. The plaque is glazed and mounted in a circular gilt frame decorated with beading and laurel leaves.
