Plate
White, ironstone china plate with a transfer-printed coloured photograph applied over the glaze. It represents Sir William Crawford Currie (1884-1961) Director of the P&O and British India Steam Navigation Companies. The edge is decorated with gilt, gadrooned moulding and the rim with panels of blue scale pattern interspersed with baskets of coloured flowers.
