Jar
A brown, salt-glazed stoneware jar, which probably held spirits, excavated from a well or cess pit behind the 'Plume of Feathers' public house, Greenwich, during building work in 1983. Below the neck is impressed the figure '5' and the name of the retailer 'Nash & Hill'.
