Pottery sherd
A fragment of salt-glazed stoneware bearing in relief part of the Stuart Royal Arms (fleur de lis and passant guardant lions). It was found with the remains of a 17th-century barge carrying bricks, excavated on the banks of the Thames between Blackfriars and Southwark bridge.
