Command flag, Admiral of the Fleet, Nazi Germany (1943-1945)
Admiral of the Fleet Command flag from Nazi Germany in the 1943-45 pattern. On the hoist is inscribed: 'Flg Grossadmiral 1,5 x 1, 5.' The flag is made of wool bunting with a cotton hoist, machine sewn with the design printed onto the fabric. A rope is attached to hoist the flag. It has a white field, bearing a black iron cross on which is superimposed two crossed admiral's batons and an eagle holding the swastika.
