A Malay ketch rigged vessel moored at Singapore
A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of a Malay ketch rigged vessel moored at Singapore. She has a white painted hull with a wide dark band above the waterline and a narrow dark band at deck level. The image of this vessel is not sharp. Two dhow type vessels are on the right. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938. A vertical format negative.
