A Malay dhow moored at Singapore

A starboard broadside view of a Malay dhow moored at Singapore. She is a two masted vessel with typical dhow lateen sails furled up and with a long horizontal bowsprit. A small sampan is alongside aft. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
