A Twaqo type junk dried out on shore at Singapore

A port bow view of a Twaqo type junk dried out on shore at Singapore. The photographer is looking down onto the hull and the lug sail appears to have been landed. The swim-headed bow has an occuli and a steel anchor is hanging over the bow. The upper part of the mast is not in the picture. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
