The bow of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk berthed alongside at Singapore

A close view of the port bow of the hull, taken from alongside looking to starboard, of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk almost dried out alongside a berth at Singapore. The vessel is three masted and most of the fore and mainmasts are out of the picture. The bow has an occuli and the hull has painted decorations on it. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
