A close view of the port side of the stern of the hull, taken from alongside looking to starboard, of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk almost dried out alongside a berth at Singapore. The vessel is three masted and most of the mizzen mast is out of the picture. The hull has painted decorations on it. An accommodation shelter is on deck aft and the rudder is perforated. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
