The swim headed bow of a Twaqo type junk moored at Singapore

A port bow view, taken from off the bow looking aft and to starboard, of a swim headed Twaqo type junk moored at Singapore. The vessel appears to be of the two masted type and the tops of the fore and mainmasts are out of the picture. The bow has an occuli and a steel anchor is resting on the forward bulkhead. A man is sitting on the port bulwark ahead of the accommodation shelter. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
