The stern of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk moored at Singapore
A close-up view of the stern of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk berthed at Singapore. The vessel appears to be of the two masted type and the top of the mainmast is out of the picture. The transom is gaily painted with representations of a volcano, flowers and leaves. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938. A vertical format negative.
