A close-up view of the port quarter of a peaked stern Twaqo type junk berthed at Singapore, looking forward and to starboard from off the port side of the stern. The vessel is of the two masted type, the transom and bulwark are gaily painted and the vessel is named See Hin, registered at Singapore with the port number 2934. A number of Tongkung type ketch rigged junks are in the background. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938. A vertical format negative.
