The vessel is of the two masted swim headed type and is registered at Singapore with the port number 2934. The photographer is in a boat dead ahead of the See Hin which has a swim headed bow with occuli on either side. The lug sails are stowed fore and aft. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
