The Twaqo type junk See Hin anchored in Singapore harbour
A slightly distant bow view of the peaked stern Twaqo type junk See Hin while she is anchored at Singapore. The vessel is of the two masted swim headed type and is registered at Singapore with the port number 2934. The photographer is in a boat dead ahead of the See Hin which has a swim headed bow with occuli on either side. The lug sails are stowed fore and aft. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938. A vertical format negative.
