A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the peaked stern Twaqo type junk Yung Hoe while she is anchored at Singapore. The vessel is of the two masted type and is registered at Singapore with the port number 2918. The Yung Hoe has a decoratively painted transom and bulwarks. The lug sails are stowed fore and aft. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
