A Hong Kong C/B trader junk anchored at Singapore

A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of a Hong Kong C/B type junk anchored at Singapore. She appears to be a two masted vessel and her lug sails are stowed fore and aft. Her bow is of the horn type with her bulwarks extended forward. She has a boom and mooring ropes extending from her port side. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
